Inleiding:
Polyvinylalcohol is een vaste stof die de vorm kan hebben van wit poeder, vlokken of vlokken. De glastransitietemperatuur is 60-85°C. Polyvinylalcohol bevat veel alcoholgroepen, is polair en kan waterstofbruggen vormen met water, waardoor het kan oplossen in polair water.
Toepassingen:
Polyvinylalcohol (PVA) is een veelgebruikt wateroplosbaar polymeer. PVA kan snel oplossen in water om een stabiele colloïde te vormen met prestaties tussen plastic en rubber. Naast het gebruik als grondstof voor vezels, wordt het ook veel gebruikt bij de productie van chemische boeken, coatings, lijmen, papierverwerkingsmiddelen, emulgatoren, dispergeermiddelen, films en andere producten. Het toepassingsgebied omvat textiel, voedsel, medicijnen, bouw, houtbewerking, papierproductie, drukwerk, landbouw, staal, polymeerchemicaliën en andere industrieën.
