Einleitung:
Bromozresolgrün ist auch als 3,3′ bekannt.5,5'-Tetrabromo-m-Cresolsulfonylphthalid und γ-Sulton. Es wird aus Essigsäure als feine hellgelbe Kristalle herabgefallen. Relatives Molekülgewicht 698.05. Schmelzpunkt 218-219°C. Es ist sehr empfindlich gegen Alkali und zeigt eine besondere blau-grüne Farbe, wenn es auf eine alkalische wässrige Lösung trifft. Bromocresolgrün kann als Indikator verwendet werden.Es ist gelb, wenn pH=30,8 und blaugrün, wenn pH=5.4.
Verwendungszwecke:
Als Zellfärbung, Säure-Basen-Indikator, pH-Farbänderungsbereich 3,8 (gelb) ~ 5,4 (blau-grün) verwendet.
