Wird zum Färben von Seide, Acryl und Wolle verwendet, mit einer Lichtechtheit von 2-3 Stufen.
Wird zum Färben von Baumwollfasern mit Tanninen verwendet, mit geringer Lichtechtheit. Auch zum Färben von Leder, Papier, Stroh und zur Herstellung von Lackpigmenten verwendet.
