ピリジン-2,6-ジカルボン酸は、幅広い用途を持つ重要な医薬品合成中間体です。ピリジン-2,6-ジカルボン酸は、バクテリアの胞子中に天然に存在しますが、含有量が低く、需要を満たすことができず、抽出も容易ではありません。工業生産や応用には適していません。最も初期の人工合成に関する文献報告は1935年で、ウィスコンシン大学のALVIN.W.SingerとS.M.MCELVAINが、2,6-ルチジンを水中で過マンガン酸カリウムを用いて酸化し、収率64%で合成しました。工業的には、一般的に2,6-ルチジンを酸化して調製されます。
用途:
ピリジン-2,6-ジカルボン酸は、Thermobacterium stearophilumのオートクレーブ処理された胞子から放出されます。キトサン安定化金ナノ粒子の凝集を誘導し、溶液の色を赤から青に変化させます。ウシ肝臓グルタミン酸デヒドロゲナーゼの競合阻害剤として使用されます。ジピコリナト-ランタンおよび遷移金属配位子複合体の調製に使用されます。
