弱酸性化合物であり、pH4.5～6.5の範囲で緩衝作用があります。泡立ちは豊かで、きめ細かく、柔らかく、洗い心地が非常に快適です。また、pH5.5での洗浄力も優れています。長期間使用しても、肌の酸塩基バランスを損なうことはありません。ラウロイルグルタミン酸Naを主成分とするクレンジングクリームの本質は、自己結晶化によってChemicalbookクリーム状にすることです。pH約5.5において、ラウロイルグルタミン酸Na水溶液の溶解度は、25℃で0.05g/100mL未満、75℃で30g/100mL以上です。この特性を利用し、まず高温で溶解し、冷却して固体を析出させます。固体が析出すると、系中の遊離水をカプセル化または吸着し、系の粘度をペースト状に高めます。
