用途:
1. 軽質酸化マグネシウムは、セラミックス、エナメル、耐火るつぼ、耐火レンガに使用されます。また、研磨剤、接着剤、塗料、製紙充填剤、ネオプレンの促進剤および活性剤としても使用されます。医薬品としては、制酸剤および緩下剤として使用され、胃酸過多および十二指腸潰瘍の治療に使用されます。ガラス染料、フェノール樹脂、プラスチックなどの産業でも使用されます。
2. 焼成マグネシアとしても知られる焼成酸化マグネシウムは、粒状およびレンガ状で入手可能であり、製鋼炉、セメントキルン、ガラス炉などの耐火材料として広く使用されています。
