Introduction:
Silane coupling agent KH-540 is trimethoxysilane, which has a significantly faster hydrolysis rate than triethoxysilane KH-550, and can provide faster reaction and curing speeds. However, the side reaction product of its hydrolysis reaction is methanol, which is slightly less environmentally friendly.
Uses:
Silane coupling agent KH-540 can be used as an additive or formulated into a primer for phenolic, urea-formaldehyde, furan, polyurethane, silicone, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic, acrylic and other coatings, inks, adhesives and sealants to improve the adhesion, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, boiling resistance and scrub resistance of the resin coating, extend the service life, and improve the dispersion and bonding of pigments and fillers in the resin phase.
DB-551 is a novel reactive silane coupling agent that is prone to hydrolysis and cross-linking reactions. It is also widely used as a reinforcing agent and cross-linking accelerator in composite materials, coatings, inks, glues and sealing materials. It can also be used as a resin modification additive and enzyme fixative.
