Introduction:

 

2-Morpholineethanesulfonic acid is a white solid powder at room temperature and pressure. It is soluble in polar solvents such as water, ethanol, methanol,  but insoluble in non-polar solvents. Its molecular structure contains a morpholine ring and an ethanesulfonic acid group. The morpholine ring is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound with high stability and inertness, and has no obvious toxicity or irritation to organisms. The ethanesulfonic acid group is a negatively charged functional group with good water solubility and buffering properties.

 

Uses:

 

This product is used as a calcium soap dispersant in soap and toilet soap. It can replace sodium tripolyphosphate as a low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free detergent. It can also be used as an active substance in liquid washing. It is used as a medium-foam mineral flotation agent in industry. It is used as a dispersant and wetting agent in leather degreasing, dyes, pigments, and pesticides. It is used as a deinking agent in the printing industry.
