Introduction:

 

Colorless liquid. Melting point -70℃, boiling point 90-92℃ (1.6kPa), 74-75℃ (667Pa), relative density 1.1098 (20/4℃), refractive index 1.4469, flash point (open cup) 104℃, viscosity 5.34mPa·s (25℃). Miscible with water and soluble in general organic solvents. The product generally contains 400ppm of inhibitor hydroquinone monomethyl ethe.

 

Uses:

 

This product can be copolymerized with many monomers such as acrylic acid and ester, acrolein, acrylonitrile, acrylamide, methacrylonitrile, vinyl chloride, styrene, etc. The obtained product can be used to treat fibers to improve the water resistance, solvent resistance, wrinkle resistance and waterproofness of fibers; it can also be used to manufacture thermosetting coatings and synthetic rubbers with excellent performance, and used as a lubricant additive, etc. In terms of adhesives, copolymerization with vinyl monomers can improve their bonding strength. In paper processing, it can be used to make acrylic emulsions for coatings to improve their water resistance and strength.
