Introduction:

 

Antioxidant MBI that is 2-mercaptobenzimidazole, is a kind of mercapto-substituted nitrogen heterocyclic compounds, is a class of important drug intermediates, widely used in medicine, pesticides, chemical industry and other fields. Pure product is white or light yellow fine powdery crystals, non-toxic, bitter taste, relative density 1.40-1.44, melting point not less than 285 ℃, soluble in ethe, aceton and ethyl acetate, insoluble in petroleum ethe, dichloromethane, insoluble in carbon tetrachloride, benzene and water.

 

 

Uses:

 

2-Hydroxybenzimidazole as rubber antioxidant, used in natural rubber, synthetic rubber, latex, oxygen, weather aging and static aging has a moderate effect, and at the same time can prevent the product vulcanization caused by the adverse effects of vulcanization; at the same time, 2-Hydroxybenzimidazole is also an important pharmaceutical intermediates. Dissolved in alkaline solution, M is used as copper plating brightener, which can make the plating layer bright and have leveling effect. It can also increase the working current density. Often used in combination with N,SPS.
