Introduction:
Sodium thioglycolate (TGA) is an important flotation depressant. It is used as a depressant for copper minerals and pyrite in the flotation of copper-molybdenum ore. It has a significant inhibitory effect on copper, sulfur and other minerals, and can effectively improve the grade of molybdenum concentrate. As a new type of effective depressant for sulfide ores, sodium thioglycolate has been successfully used in molybdenum production for many years and has completely replaced the highly toxic depressant sodium cyanide.
Uses:
It is mainly used as an inhibitor for copper-molybdenum minerals and pyrite.
