1. Used as a slip agent and mold-release agent for plastics such as PVC, polyolefins, and polystyrene.
2. Serves as a lubricant and mold-release agent for plastics like polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polystyrene, offering excellent external lubrication and mold-release properties. It can also function as an anti-blocking agent for polyolefin films, typically used in combination with oleamide or erucamide. Unlike common inorganic anti-blocking agents (such as silica), it does not compromise the transparency of the finished products. Additionally, it acts as an internal mold-release agent and lubricant for synthetic or natural rubber, improving the processability of rubber compounds and imparting a high-quality gloss to the finished products.
