Applications
- 2-Hydroxy-2-methylpropiophenone is a photoinitiator. In addition, it serves as an important organic intermediate (building block) for synthesizing substituted propiophenone products.
- 2-Hydroxy-2-benzoylpropane was used as a catalyst in a real-time kinetic study of laser-induced polymerization. It is also a photoinitiator.
