N,N'-Methylenebisacrylamide (MBA, CAS 110-26-9) is the bifunctional monomer that converts linear polyacrylamide into a stable three-dimensional network. In electrophoresis the acrylamide to bis-acrylamide ratio governs pore size, band resolution and the mechanical strength of the gel slice, which means the purity of the crosslinker sets the ceiling on how reproducible a separation can ever be. Our electrophoresis grade MBA is recrystallised from high purity acrylamide feedstock, vacuum dried and packed under nitrogen, giving an assay of 99.5 percent or higher and UV absorbance low enough for direct protein readout at 280 nm.

Every batch is released only after HPLC assay, Karl Fischer moisture, insoluble residue, free acrylic acid and A280 are measured and recorded. The lot number printed on each pouch links back to the manufacturing record, the incoming raw material COA and a retention sample stored for 24 months. That paper trail is what regulated laboratories, IVD reagent producers and contract research organisations ask for before they qualify a second source, and it is why our material is already running on SDS-PAGE lines in Europe and South East Asia.

• Nitrogen flushed foil pouch with desiccant: protects the powder from moisture, light and oxidative yellowing during storage and sea freight

The material is used to cast SDS-PAGE and native PAGE gels at 29:1 and 37.5:1 ratios, to prepare DNA and RNA sequencing gels where a fixed crosslink density keeps base spacing uniform, and in isoelectric focusing strips where mechanical handling of thin gels matters. Formulators also use it as the reference crosslinker when producing polyacrylamide beads, hydrogel discs and swellable matrices for IVD reagents and cell culture scaffolds.

Because the batch documentation reports both assay and UV absorbance, laboratories working under ISO 17025 or GMP-adjacent quality systems can transfer our specification directly into their incoming inspection plan without additional method development.

Each shipment includes a batch specific Certificate of Analysis listing assay, moisture, insolubility, free acrylic acid and A280 against the specification above, together with a safety data sheet in the current GHS format. Third party verification by SGS or Intertek can be arranged at the buyer's request, and a 200 g retention sample from the same lot is kept for 24 months should any dispute arise after arrival.

We warrant the product for 12 months from the date of shipment when stored as recommended. If a batch fails any specification item on retest at an accredited laboratory, we replace it free of charge or refund the invoice value, whichever the buyer prefers.

Standard packing is 1 kg of powder in a nitrogen flushed aluminium foil bag with desiccant, three bags to a carton, or 25 kg in a fibre drum with double polyethylene liner for bulk users. Both formats carry the lot number, CAS number, net weight, production date and storage instruction on an English label.

Orders up to 100 kg leave the factory within 5 to 8 working days by express or air freight with full tracking. Larger volumes ship by sea from Shanghai or Qingdao. We handle the dangerous goods declaration where applicable and provide packing list, invoice, COA and MSDS in a single document set for customs clearance.
