Adhesive Raw Material N,N'-Methylenebisacrylamide MBA CAS 110-26-9 Powder for Acrylic Resin

Water based acrylic pressure sensitive adhesives live on a trade off between tack and cohesion, and MBA is one of the few additives that shifts that balance without reformulating the whole polymer. Added at 0.1 to 0.5 percent on monomer weight during emulsion or solution polymerisation, it introduces a controlled number of branch points, lifting shear holding power, softening point and resistance to plasticiser migration while leaving loop tack almost untouched.

For laminating adhesives, coatings and acrylic resins the same branching improves wet strength and blocks the creep that shows up as edge lift on labels stored in warm warehouses. Our adhesive grade is specified for low residual monomer, consistent particle size and low yellowing, so the finished film stays water clear after accelerated ageing instead of turning amber on the shelf.

Applications include water based and solvent acrylic pressure sensitive adhesives for labels, tapes and protective films, two component laminating adhesives for flexible packaging, acrylic binders for coatings and non woven fabrics, and rheology modifiers for acrylic thickeners and superabsorbent formulations.

Our technical team supplies a dosage ladder starting at 0.1 percent with the corresponding shear, tack and peel data measured on a standard acrylic emulsion, so a formulator can estimate the effect before running plant trials. Custom blends with inhibitor or surfactant are available for volume customers.

Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis covering assay, moisture, residual acrylamide and appearance, and a retained sample is kept for 24 months for retest. Where a customer needs batch to batch colour data, we provide Gardner colour and yellowness index values measured on a standard acrylic solution.

We warrant the product for 12 months from shipment under recommended storage. Batches that fall outside the specification are replaced or credited after joint verification against the retained sample.

Standard packing is 25 kg in a fibre drum with double polyethylene liner, with 1 kg and 5 kg foil bags available for laboratory trials. Every package carries lot number, CAS number, net weight and production date.

Lead time is 5 to 8 working days for orders up to 500 kg and 15 to 20 days for container volumes from Shanghai. We prepare packing list, invoice, COA and MSDS in English for customs clearance.
