Grouting Material N,N'-Methylenebisacrylamide MBA CAS 110-26-9 Waterproof Plugging Powder

Water leaking through construction joints, honeycombed concrete and tunnel linings is usually stopped with a grout that penetrates the defect as a thin fluid and then gels in place. MBA crosslinked acrylamide grouts meet that requirement precisely: viscosity close to water during injection, a controllable set from minutes to hours, and a cured gel that stays elastic and bonded to damp concrete instead of shrinking away from it.

The grouting grade is formulated for construction site conditions rather than clean laboratory brines. It tolerates hard mixing water, works from 5 to 40 degrees C ambient, and produces a gel with low syneresis so the seal does not weep after a season of wet and dry cycling. Contractors use it for curtain grouting, crack injection, soil stabilisation and sewer rehabilitation where cement grout simply cannot reach.

• Adjustable set time: from a few minutes for rapid leak sealing to several hours for deep curtain grouting

• Low syneresis: gel retains water and volume during wet and dry cycling, so the seal does not weep over time
• Tolerant of site water: performs with normal tap or borehole water rather than requiring demineralised water on site

Typical uses are injection grouting of leaking construction joints and cracks in basements and retaining walls, curtain grouting around tunnels and shafts, stabilisation of loose sand and gravel before excavation, sealing of sewer and manhole defects, and repair of water retaining structures where a flexible seal is needed.

We provide a mixing and injection guide covering catalyst dosage against temperature, typical pump pressures for hairline and wide cracks, and the curing time to allow before water testing. Site trials can be supported with a 5 kg sample and remote technical guidance.

Each batch is released with a Certificate of Analysis reporting assay, moisture, viscosity before set and set time at 25 degrees C, together with an elongation figure measured on a standard gel. A retention sample is kept for 18 months so a site complaint can be checked against the original material.

The product carries a 12 month warranty from shipment under recommended storage. If a batch fails the specification on arrival it is replaced or credited after joint verification, with freight covered by us for the replacement.

Standard packing is 25 kg in a fibre drum with double polyethylene liner, suitable for site mixing tanks, with 1 kg and 5 kg foil bags for trial work. Labels show lot number, net weight, CAS number and the set time measured for that batch.

Delivery takes 5 to 8 working days for small orders and 15 to 20 days for container loads from Shanghai. Packing list, COA, MSDS and, where needed, non hazardous cargo declaration are issued in English.
