Agricultural Adjuvant Surfactant CAS 120478-49-1 NAPE Sulfate Spray Wetting Agent

A spray droplet that bounces off a waxy leaf never delivers its active ingredient. Anionic adjuvants based on sulfated nonylphenol ethoxylates lower the dynamic surface tension of the spray liquid fast enough that the droplet spreads and adheres instead of rebounding, and they do it in the hard water that most spray tanks are filled with.

This adjuvant grade is supplied at 70 percent active for blending into emulsifiable concentrates, suspension concentrates and tank mix adjuvants. It is specified for hard water tolerance, for compatibility with the electrolyte load of glyphosate and other salt formulations, and for low foam in the spray tank where foam interferes with filling and calibration.

Used as a wetting and spreading adjuvant in herbicide, fungicide and insecticide formulations, in tank mix adjuvants, and as an emulsifier component in emulsifiable concentrate systems.

Typical use is 0.05 to 0.2 percent of the spray volume, or 1 to 3 percent in a formulated adjuvant concentrate. Because adjuvant regulation differs by market, the customer should confirm registration status for the intended crop and country; our documentation package supports that assessment with composition and physico chemical data.

Packed in 200 kg plastic drums and 1000 kg IBC tanks, sealed and labelled with lot number, active content and production date. Drums are suitable for direct blending into formulation vessels.

Store between 5 and 35 degrees C, protected from frost, direct sunlight and strong oxidisers. Shipments leave within 7 to 15 working days with COA, TDS and safety data sheet.

The Certificate of Analysis reports active content, pH, surface tension, dynamic surface tension, hard water stability, foam height, unsulfated matter and free nonylphenol. A 250 g retention sample is kept for 24 months.
