Industrial Cleaner Surfactant 90% Active CAS 120478-49-1 NAPE Sulfate Concentrate

A cleaner concentrate is mostly a logistics decision: the more active matter in the drum, the less water is shipped and the more concentrated the product the customer can sell. This 90 percent active sulfated nonylphenol ethoxylate is made for that purpose, giving the formulator maximum freedom to build alkaline, acidic or neutral cleaners without inheriting the water and salt load of a dilute surfactant.

At this concentration the product is a viscous but pumpable liquid that dissolves readily when added to water under stirring. It is specified on active content, unsulfated matter and free nonylphenol because those three numbers decide how much electrolyte a concentrate can carry before it clouds, and how much foam the diluted cleaner will produce in a spray or a pressure washer.

• Consistent concentrate viscosity: batch to batch pumping and filling behaviour stays the same

Used in alkaline and acidic industrial cleaners, metal degreasers, floor and surface cleaners, CIP circulation cleaners and pressure washer concentrates, typically at 1 to 5 percent of the formulated concentrate.

Because the product is viscous, it should be added to water with good agitation and, in high electrolyte formulas, after the builders are dissolved to avoid a gel phase. Our formulation note includes three starting formulas: an alkaline metal cleaner, an acidic descaler and a neutral floor cleaner.

Packed in 200 kg plastic drums and 1000 kg IBC tanks, sealed and labelled with lot number, active content and production date. The viscosity is suitable for standard drum pumps; for IBC discharge in cold weather, warm the container to 30 degrees C.

Store between 5 and 35 degrees C, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Shipments leave within 7 to 15 working days with COA, TDS and a GHS safety data sheet.

Each lot is released with a Certificate of Analysis reporting active content, pH, cloud point, unsulfated matter, free nonylphenol, surface tension, density and viscosity. A 250 g retention sample is kept for 24 months.

We supply a GHS safety data sheet, formulation starting points and a statement of the nonylphenol ethoxylate restriction status. For cleaning products sold into markets where these surfactants are restricted, an alcohol ethoxylate sulfate replacement can be quoted with equivalent wetting data.
