The solution is water reactive and flammable, the solvent is volatile, and a drum that arrives with a weeping closure is an incident report rather than a quality complaint. We fill under nitrogen, pressure test every drum, and ship with the documentation the receiving site needs.

Assay is titrated on the blend, not on a single reactor batch, so a shipment is one material rather than a spread. Customers running continuous campaigns can take a monthly allocation and a fixed shipping date, which removes the spot market from the raw material budget.

Recovery is worth discussing at this scale too. If your plant strips THF from the quench and reuses it, the economics of bulk supply change considerably, and we can quote on the basis of the actual annual consumption.

Ethyl addition steps at plant scale, particularly in pharmaceutical and agrochemical routes where the Grignard is charged directly from a drum into a reactor under nitrogen.

Unload with dry nitrogen pressure, never with water or air displacement. Keep the drum sealed when not in use and check the closure torque after any transport; the most common failure at this scale is a closure that loosened in transit rather than a quality drift.

200 L and 1000 L drums, and ISO tanks on request, all nitrogen padded and pressure tested. Labels record blend number, titrated molarity and the test date.

Store between 5 and 25 degrees C, sealed under nitrogen, away from water and ignition sources. Full container and ISO tank shipments from Shanghai with IMDG class 4.3 documentation in 15 to 25 days.

COA per blend with titrated molarity, chloride, appearance and turbidity. A retention sample per blend is kept for 12 months under nitrogen.
