Inleiding:
Wateroplosbaar eosin Y is een chemisch gesynthetiseerde zure kleurstof die in water dissocieert in negatief geladen anionen en combineert met positief geladen kationen van de aminogroepen van eiwitten om het cytoplasma te kleuren. Het cytoplasma, rode bloedcellen, spieren, bindweefsel, eosinofiele korrels, enz. worden in verschillende gradaties rood of roze gekleurd, waardoor een scherp contrast ontstaat met de blauwe celkern.
Toepassingen:
1. Gebruikt als biologische kleurstof. Ook gebruikt als adsorptie-indicator, gebruikt voor precipitatietitratie van Br-, I-, SCN-, MoO, Ag+, etc. Gebruikt als colorimetrisch reagens, gebruikt voor fluorescentiespectrofotometrische bepaling van Ag+, Pb2+, Mn2+, Zn2+, etc.
2.
