Introductie:

 

Witte naaldvormige kristallen. Smeltpunt 240-241℃. Gemakkelijk oplosbaar in alifatische koolwaterstoffen, oplosbaar in alcohol, licht oplosbaar in aromatische koolwaterstoffen en onoplosbaar in water. Het molecuul van dit product bevat twee hydroxylgroepen en een sulfongroep met sterke elektronenonttrekking, waardoor de zuurgraad sterker is dan andere fenolen.

 

Toepassingen:

 

4,4'-Dihydroxydifenylsulfon wordt voornamelijk gebruikt als kleurfixeermiddel. Daarnaast kan het worden gebruikt als additief voor galvaniseerbaden, leerlooimiddel, dispergeermiddel voor het verven op hoge temperatuur van dispersiekleurstoffen, verhardingsversneller voor fenolhars, vlamvertrager voor hars, enz. Het is ook een tussenproduct voor pesticiden, kleurstoffen en additieven. Als vervanging voor bisfenol A kan het worden gebruikt als grondstof voor polycarbonaat, epoxyhars, polyester, fenolhars en een grondstof voor polysulfon en polyethersulfon. Dit product wordt ook gebruikt voor de productie van kleurenfotografische materialen, fotografische contrastverbeteraars, thermische opnamematerialen (ontwikkelaars), dagelijkse oppervlakteactieve stoffen en zeer efficiënte deodorants, enz. Bisfenol S kan worden gebruikt als grondstof om kleurfixeermiddel A te bereiden (de buitenlandse handelsnaam is CibatexPA).
