Meta-Xylyleendiamine is een kleurloze vloeistof met een amandelgeur. Het wordt geel na langdurige blootstelling aan lucht. De viscositeit is vergelijkbaar met die van dibutylftalaat. Het is oplosbaar in water en organische oplosmiddelen.
Gebruik:
Meta-fenyleendiamine wordt voornamelijk gebruikt bij de bereiding van uithardingsmiddelen voor epoxyhars, lichtgevoelige kunststoffen, rubberadditieven, polyurethaanharsen en coatings, enz.; het wordt voornamelijk gebruikt voor de vervaardiging van hoogwaardige epoxyharsuithardingsmiddelen die hittebestendig, niet-giftig zijn, geschikt zijn voor onderwaterconstructies en snel kunnen worden uitgehard door verwarming. Het is de grondstof voor polyurethaanharsen en synthetische functionele epoxyharsen. Het wordt ook gebruikt in rubberadditieven, lichtgevoelige kunststoffen, pesticiden, coatings, nylonproducten, vezelafwerkingsmiddelen, roestremmers, chelaatvormers, smeermiddelen, papierverwerking, enz.
