Introduction :
La N-iodosuccinimide, communément abrégée NIS, est un cristal blanc en forme d'aiguille.
La NIS est un important réactif d'iodation électrophile en chimie organique. Elle peut réagir avec des intermédiaires d'aluminium alcényle pour préparer des composés iodure d'alcényle. Elle peut également être utilisée comme réactif d'oxydation pour oxyder et cycliser des dipeptides afin de préparer des β-lactames. La NIS est un bon réactif d'iodation qui peut convertir en douceur le vinylsilane et le vinylstannane en l'iodure de vinyle correspondant. De plus, dans des conditions douces, l'acide boronique oléfinique réagit avec la NIS pour se convertir en iodure d'oléfine avec une configuration géométrique inchangée. La NIS est facile à décomposer et doit être conservée à basse température, à l'abri de la lumière et de l'humidité sous protection d'azote. Lors de l'utilisation, prendre les mesures nécessaires pour éviter l'inhalation de poudre à l'odeur piquante.
Utilisations :
1. Utilisée en synthèse organique, réactif de titrage pour l'oxydation du soufre, agent d'iodation doux, catalyseur de glucosinolate, etc.
2. Principalement utilisée comme intermédiaire pharmaceutique en biopharmaceutique. La N-iodosuccinimide est utilisée comme agent d'iodation en synthèse chimique.
