Introduction :
La 1,4-Dihydroxyanthraquinone est un solide cristallin orange-rouge à température et pression ambiantes, et possède une certaine solubilité dans l'eau. Elle possède un grand système π conjugué dans sa structure, présente d'importantes propriétés luminescentes, et son acidité est plus forte que celle de l'isomère 1,5-dihydroxyanthraquinone. Elle précipite de l'acide acétique sous forme de cristaux orange. Elle est rouge lorsqu'elle est dissoute dans l'éthanol en quantités appropriées, fluorescence brune et jaune lorsqu'elle est dissoute dans l'éther, et violette lorsqu'elle est dissoute dans la soude caustique et l'ammoniaque.
Utilisations :
Ce produit est un intermédiaire de colorant important. Il s'agit du brun dispersé GL (C.I.58050). Il est utilisé pour fabriquer le bleu dispersé HSR, le bleu dispersé 5R, le bleu dispersé B, le bleu foncé dispersé RB, le bleu anthraquinone acide R, le vert brillant acide faible RAW, le gris réduit BG, le brun réduit BR, etc. Il peut également être utilisé pour produire l'intermédiaire 1,4-diaminoanthraquinone. L'acide 1,4-dihydroxyanthraquinone-2-sulfonique peut être obtenu par sulfonation de la 1,4-dihydroxyquinone.
