Einführung:

 

Zinn(II)-chlorid, chemische Formel SnCl2, wird auch als Zinndichlorid bezeichnet. Es gibt wasserfreie und hydratisierte Formen. Erstere sind transparente Kristalle mit einem Schmelzpunkt von 246℃, einem Siedepunkt von 652℃ und einer relativen Dichte von 3,95. Es ist in Wasser löslich und wird an der Luft zu unlöslichem Chloroxid oxidiert.

 

Verwendungen:

 

Zinn(II)-chlorid kann als Reduktionsmittel bei der Herstellung von Farbstoffzwischenprodukten verwendet werden. Es ist eine Komponente von Hochdruck-Schmierölen. Es wird als Bleichmittel verwendet. Es wird zur Sensibilisierung der Quecksilberbeschichtung bei der Spiegelherstellung verwendet. Der gebildete Silberfilm hat eine gute Helligkeit und das Quecksilber ist fest mit dem Produkt verbunden. Es wird in der Galvanikindustrie zum Verzinnen und Kupfer-Zinn-Beschichten von mechanischen Teilen verwendet. Es wird zur chemischen Buchsensibilisierung während der ABS-Kunststoffgalvanisierung verwendet, um zu verhindern, dass sich die Beschichtung ablöst. Es wird auch bei der Synthese von Arzneimitteln, als Katalysator für die organische Synthese und als Aktivator für die Vulkanisation von Butylkautschukprodukten verwendet. Es ist eine Beize beim Färben und ein Farbstoffresist im Druckentladungsprozess. Es ist ein Stabilisator in der Gewürzindustrie. Es ist ein Lebensmittelreduktionsmittel und Antioxidationsmittel, wie z. B. bei Spargel und Ananassaft in Dosen.
