Ölige Flüssigkeit mit einem Aroma ähnlich Popcorn, frittierten Maistortillas, Kernobst und Brot. Schmelzpunkt 65℃, Siedepunkt 95～105℃ (2000Pa), Flammpunkt 78℃. Brechungsindex (nD20) 1,5480. Relative Dichte (d420) 1,226. Es kommt natürlich in gekochtem Rindfleisch, gekochter Schweineleber, Spargel, Kartoffeln und Reis vor und hat ein Aroma ähnlich Nüssen, Reis und Popcorn.
Verwendungen:
Wird bei der Herstellung von Triazolothiazol-Analoga, chiralen Alkoholen und auch bei Aldol-Kondensationsreaktionen verwendet. Wird als Lebensmittelaroma verwendet
