水に可溶、ベンゼン、クロロホルム、エーテルにはほとんど不溶のプリズム状結晶。エタノール中で分解する。明確な融点を持たず、175-180℃で激しく分解（爆発）する。わずかに塩素臭があり、乾燥空気中で徐々に水分を失い、空気にさらされると徐々に分解して塩素を析出する。

 

用途：

 

医薬品として、創傷洗浄、粘膜消毒、飲料水の消毒、医療機器の滅菌に使用されます。創傷洗浄剤としては、一般的に1〜2％水溶液が使用され、粘膜消毒剤の濃度は0.1〜0.2％、飲料水消毒剤の濃度は1：250000です。印刷および染色業界では、漂白剤および酸化糊抜き剤として使用されます。主に植物繊維の漂白に使用されます。使用は非常に簡単で、適量の水を加えて溶解し、次に水を加えて0.1〜0.3％溶液に希釈するだけです。70〜80℃に加熱した後、布を漂白に入れることができます。クロラミンTは水と反応して次亜塩素酸を生成し、次に分解して一次生態酸素を放出します。酸化糊抜き剤として比較的速く作用します。工程条件の制御に細心の注意を払う必要があり、さもないと繊維を損傷します。実験室分析作業では、塩素を供給するための試薬として使用されます。この製品は刺激性があります。粉塵を人体に吸入すると、体温が上昇し、鼻水が出て、呼吸が喘息になります。
