Opis produktu
Arachidonic acid (CAS 506-32-1) sits in the ceramide and phospholipid fraction of the skin barrier, and formulators use it in topical products where the goal is to replenish omega-6 lipids rather than to simply occlude the surface. It is a pale yellow oil with a light skin feel, good spreading behaviour and compatibility with the ester and triglyceride oils already used in creams and balms. For cosmetic use the sensory and odour profile decides whether a formula succeeds.
