Introduction:
Inosine, also known as inosine or inosine nucleoside, is a white, odorless, slightly bitter, needle-shaped crystal. It is a nucleoside compound formed by the binding of hypoxanthine to ribose. Inosinic acid (IMP) serves as a precursor for the synthesis of adenosine (AMP) and guanosine (GMP) in the de novo synthesis of purines. Its melting point is 218°C. At 20°C, 1.6g of the product dissolves in 100ml of water.
Uses:
It participates in energy metabolism and protein synthesis in the body. It can be used to treat leukopenia and thrombocytopenia caused by various reasons. It can cause mild diarrhea and is incompatible with orotic acid, chloramphencol, dipyridamole, and thiopental sodium injection.
