CHAPS, een afgeleide van choliczuur, is een zwitterionisch wasmiddel dat membraanproteïnen oplosbaar maakt.CHAPS wordt gebruikt om verschillende proteïne-DNA-complexen te stabiliseren en kan de biochemische activiteit van eiwitten in oplossing behouden.

Gebruik:
