用途:
CHAPSは、膜生化学で使用される非変性双性イオン界面活性剤です。 膜タンパク質を可溶化し、タンパク質-タンパク質相互作用を阻害するために使用できます。 CHAPSは、低いミセル分子量（6,150）と高い臨界ミセル濃度（6-10mM）を持ち、透析によってサンプルから除去できます。 また、等電点電気泳動および二次元電気泳動におけるタンパク質の可溶化にも適しています。 CHAPSは、非変性（尿素フリー）等電点電気泳動で一般的に使用されており、特定の細胞内画分および植物タンパク質の優れた分離能が得られることがわかっています。 等電点電気泳動ゲルでは、通常2〜4％（w/v）の濃度が使用されます。 両性界面活性剤であるCHAPSは、非変性双性イオン界面活性剤であり、タンパク質溶解バッファーであり、膜タンパク質を可溶化し、タンパク質-タンパク質相互作用を阻害するために使用されます。
