CHAPS는 낮은 미셀 분자량(6,150)과 높은 임계 미셀 농도(6-10mM)를 가지고 있어 투석으로 시료에서 제거할 수 있습니다. 또한 등전점 전기영동 및 2차원 전기영동에서 단백질을 가용화하는 데 적합합니다.
