Introduction :
L'acide 4-hydroxyéthylpipérazineéthanesulfonique (HEPES) est un tampon d'ions hydrogène important, qui a une bonne capacité tampon dans la plage de pH de 6,8 à 8,2 et peut contrôler un pH constant pendant une longue période.
