Einführung:
Diethylentriaminpentaessigsäure (DTPA), auch bekannt als Diethylentriaminpentaessigsäure, ist ein ausgezeichneter Aminocarbonsäure-Komplexbildner mit starker Chelatisierungsfähigkeit. Die von ihr mit den meisten Kationen gebildeten Komplexe sind stabiler als die entsprechenden Chelate von Ethylendiamintetraessigsäure. Dieses Produkt ist ein weißes Kristall oder kristallines Pulver. Der Schmelzpunkt beträgt 230℃ (Zersetzung), löslich in heißem Wasser und alkalischer Lösung, schwer löslich in kaltem Wasser, unlöslich in organischen Lösungsmitteln wie Alkohol und Ether.
Verwendungen:
Als hocheffizienter Chelatbildner kann Diethylentriaminpentaessigsäure in Farbstoffinhibitoren in der Acrylfaserherstellung, in der Papierindustrie, in Wasserenthärtern, in Textilhilfsmitteln, als Chelat-Titriermittel, in der Farbfotografie und in der Lebensmittelindustrie eingesetzt werden. Es wird auch häufig in der medizinischen Behandlung, der Trennung von Seltenerdelementen und in der landwirtschaftlichen Produktion verwendet.
