Inleiding:
Diethyleentriaminepenta-azijnzuur (DTPA), ook bekend als diethyleentriaminepenta-azijnzuur, is een uitstekende aminocarbonzuurcomplexvormer met sterke chelaterende eigenschappen. De complexen die het vormt met de meeste kationen zijn stabieler dan de overeenkomstige chelaten van ethyleendiaminetetra-azijnzuur. Dit product is een witte kristal of kristallijn poeder. Smeltpunt is 230℃ (ontleding), oplosbaar in heet water en alkalische oplossing, licht oplosbaar in koud water, onoplosbaar in organische oplosmiddelen zoals alcohol en ether.
Toepassingen:
Als een zeer efficiënte chelaatvormer kan diethyleentriaminepenta-azijnzuur worden gebruikt in kleurremmers in de productie van acrylvezels, de papierindustrie, waterontharders, textielhulpmiddelen, chelaterende titranten, kleurenfotografie en de voedingsindustrie.
