ジエチレントリアミン五酢酸（DTPA）は、ジエチレントリアミン五酢酸とも呼ばれ、強力なキレート能力を持つ優れたアミノカルボン酸キレート剤です。 ほとんどのカチオンとの間で形成される錯体は、エチレンジアミン四酢酸の対応するキレートよりも安定しています。 本製品は白色の結晶または結晶性粉末です。 融点は230℃（分解）、熱水およびアルカリ溶液に可溶、冷水に微溶、アルコールエーテルなどの有機溶媒には不溶です。
用途:
高効率キレート剤として、ジエチレントリアミン五酢酸は、アクリル繊維製造における着色抑制剤、製紙業界、水軟化剤、繊維助剤、キレート滴定剤、カラー写真、食品産業に使用できます。 また、医療、希土類元素の分離、農業生産にも広く使用されています。
