Inleiding:

Kationische oppervlakteactieve stoffen van het alkyltrimethylammoniumzouttype worden bereid door hogere vetzuren met methylchloride te laten reageren in aanwezigheid van natriumhydroxide. Dit type oppervlakteactieve stof heeft een structuur van een lange-keten alkyl- of koolwaterstofgroep (meestal 8 tot 22 koolstofatomen) en drie korte-keten alkylgroepen (1 tot 7 koolstofatomen), zoals 1231 (dodecyltrimethylammoniumchloride), 1431 (tetradecyltrimethylammoniumchloride), 1631 (hexadecyltrimethylammoniumchloride) en 1831 (octadecyltrimethylammoniumchloride). Deze oppervlakteactieve stof is gemakkelijk oplosbaar in water, transparant en heeft een goede oppervlakteactiviteit.

 

Gebruik:

 

Het kan worden gebruikt als een antistatisch middel voor externe coating van shampoo, bacteriedodend wasmiddel, polystyreenhars, enz., een antistatisch middel voor vezels, een egalisatiemiddel, een demulgator en een dispergeermiddel, enz.
