Einführung:
Kationische Tenside vom Typ Alkyltrimethylammoniumsalz werden durch Reaktion von höheren Fettaminen mit Methylchlorid in Gegenwart von Natriumhydroxid hergestellt. Dieser Tensidtyp hat eine Struktur aus einer langkettigen Alkyl- oder Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe (normalerweise 8 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatome) und drei kurzkettigen Alkylgruppen (1 bis 7 Kohlenstoffatome), wie z. B. 1231 (Dodecyltrimethylammoniumchlorid), 1431 (Tetradecyltrimethylammoniumchlorid), 1631 (Hexadecyltrimethylammoniumchlorid) und 1831 (Octadecyltrimethylammoniumchlorid). Dieses Tensid ist leicht wasserlöslich, transparent und weist eine gute Oberflächenaktivität auf.
Verwendungen:
Es kann als Antistatikum für die äußere Beschichtung von Shampoo, bakteriziden Reinigungsmitteln, Polystyrolharz usw., als Antistatikum für Fasern, als Egalisierungsmittel, als Entemulgator und als Dispergiermittel usw. verwendet werden.
