Einführung:
Es ist ein weißer Kristall bei Raumtemperatur mit einem Molekulargewicht von 269,52. Schmelzpunkt 52,8612. Siedepunkt 23212 (4,27 kPa). Flammpunkt ist 149℃. Relative Dichte 0,8618. Brechungsindex 1,4522. Es ist alkalisch. Löslich in Ethanol und Benzol, unlöslich in Wasser.
Verwendungen:
Octadecanamin wird als Zwischenprodukt für die organische Synthese verwendet und dient zur Herstellung von Octadecan-quartären Aminsalzen und einer Vielzahl von Additiven, wie z. B. Verdickungsmittel für kationische Fette, Mineralaufbereitungsmittel, Pestizide und Asphaltemulgatoren, Textil-Antistatikmittel, Weichmacher, Benetzungs- und Imprägniermittel, Tenside, Fungizide, Farbstoffe für Farbfilme, korrosionshemmende chemischebook-Mittel für Ölraffinerieanlagen. In Kombination mit Octadecyldiethanolamin mit Ethylenoxid in einem Molverhältnis von 1:2, bei 150-190°C umgesetzt, kann Octadecyldiethanolamin in einer Ausbeute von fast 80 % erhalten werden. Octadecyldiethanolamin ist ein nichtionisches Antistatikmittel und kann in Polypropylen-, Polystyrol- und ABS-Harzen verwendet werden.
